55 t/day Municipal Sludge Composting Facility
A membrane composting facility configured for 55 tonnes of municipal sludge per day, blending sludge with bulking material and finishing it as compost.

Configured sludge treatment capacity
Intake matched to plant operation
The challenge
The wastewater plant needed a continuous, defensible sludge route. Intake could not pause, odour had to stay controlled, and the output needed a defined landscaping channel.
The system
Sludge is received, blended to recipe, fermented in membrane-covered lanes with automated aeration, then cured and screened. The line layout separates sludge intake, fermentation and finished-product zones.
The outcome
The facility runs sludge treatment as a continuous production process with a compost output, instead of a disposal contract with rising cost and tightening acceptance.
